Those of you that have already visited these beautiful subtropical gardens will already know how special they are.

Wind your way down through the valley of lush Gunnera, spires of delicate Agapanthus and rivers of blue Hydrangea and you find yourself at an esquisite secluded beach that would not look out of place in a scene from Captain Corelli's Mandolin.

For those who like to snap, photographic opportunities abound whilst those who like to eat will feel most satisfied with the wonderful scenic resturant. Wheel chair access has also been considered although battery power would be an advantage on the way back up!

Altogether a very enjoyable stunning garden to visit. Don't forget to take your swimming costume on a hot day! Thought I would share a few pictures with you.

Yeah, I went there a few years ago, really liked the tree ferns and the gunnera, amongst other things.

This was the nearest garden to my parents who lived just outside Mawnan Smith, and wasn't restored when they first arrived, although it is a very old garden. It was private but accessible! We used to walk round the shore to the concrete pathway and walk up through the jungle back to the road.
It is lovely to see it open to the public and flourishing again. [IMG]
