Hi, I'm looking for a tree for my front garden, my garden is relatively small and I'm looking for a tree that won't grow to big, no more than 3 metres. It would also be nice if it would help out the local wildlife as well :) I was just wondering if you had any ideas of a nice tree that would suit? Thanks Dean

If your soil isn't too alkaline, and the garden is reasonably sheltered, I'd recommend Arbutus unedo rubra. It's an evergreen with attractive bark, pink flowers and strawberry-like fruit. Attractive 365 days of the year!
