    Hi Everyone

A friend gave me this little plant/tree/shrub, but i don' know what it is and neither do they.

I'm sure one or two of you knowledgeable individuals will know the answer.

I could be wrong, but it looks like Ash to me. Only one place for it I`m afraid, recycle bin. But, get a second opinion first.:D:D:D:dbgrtmb:

I thought it was too early for the Ash tree to be in leaf, i've had this for a good 3 weeks and the Ash trees around here were not quite in leaf at the time. oh well, but then again, it is good burning wood, if i get my new garden i could plant it for that reason - recycle it slightly differently. Might keep it for a little while until i decide.

Thanks all for the quick responses!:)

I've just done a quick search through google images for ash, sorbus (rowan), walnut and even wild rose...

There's nothing too conclusive, it could be either ash or sorbus, personally I would sway slightly towards sorbus at this stage.......

      Hi

Not that experienced but why is ash considered good for the bin? Is it like a weed?
