Tree work video

Hi all,

A colleague of mine took a videophone film of me side pruning a huge spruce tree. Sorry for the poor quality of the footage. I used to have a few good pics of me at work but bloody lost them all, dagnabbit. Anyway; me up a big spruce.

A big unn that!!!

Twisted ropes in part 2.... the bain of the climbers life or rather one of many!!

Ive got my rope rescue and top handle tickets but always opted to be groundsman unless there was a cherrypicker (often got lumbered then as I have IPAF).

 

Great vid! Unfortunately ,my leyllandii is not quite that tall!

 

Nice to see treesurfer, just wish it was a bit clearer, but I think we got the jist of it.

Nice looking tree, what kind of spruce?

LOL, good vids of you working. I'm used to the Welsh accent took me a while to realise the accent was even there.
