This was a chance photograph today, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it. Your opinions please?

The camera didn't lie in this case Jiffy. :)

"M" I posted here to see what everyone thought from a photographic point of view, although Woo is yet to see this and say what he thinks. :)

Good morning Sheal yes very interesting, the first thing that I thought was why was the photo taken ,there doesn't seem to be a main subject, but then I thought it is obviously an ornament ,it could be a software enhancement,a reflection or a double take one image over another image,But I think it is a image watermark with just a touch of opacity or it could be a magic:heehee:

Not a very good example but it just shows an image watermark:whistle:

            I thought two's company;)

I like the addition of Woo to the picture @wiseowl. :)

There were no adjustments made to the photo at all and the camera hasn't lied either, but the phenomenon I saw before taking the picture is different to what appeared in the shot. I will explain all later this evening. ;)

Meet Oswald my newest addition to the garden. He is what you can see in the photo. :)

                    IMG_0900.JPG

I tried to draw a diagram but gave up on that, so will try to explain.

My lounge runs front to back of my bungalow with windows at both ends. I glanced into the front garden as I entered and the above caught my eye, my husband being taller couldn't see it. Now, Oswald is sitting in a bed in the back garden so there is no way it could be just a reflection. Taking both windows into consideration it would have meant mirror imaging as well as reflection.

Even stranger is the fact that the shrub Oswald is seen in, the hedge to the right and the tatty wall are the only things in my garden. The gate, it's post and in the distance, the lawn and wall are attached to the bungalow on the opposite side of the road to mine.

Unlike you @wiseowl he had a painful entrance into the world......via chainsaw!:)

What I don't understand is why my neighbours gate etc. is brought, in effect into my garden as they are at the front of my property not at the back like Oswald. Could it be the reflection working in reverse from the back window?
