Been wanting to own at least one trillium so when i spotted an offer recently I went for it. Only problem is that im not sure where in my garden to plant it. I know it would like a sort of woodland atmosphere, but i havent got that. The only spot would be at the side of my house where its a bit cooler and a little damper. I did try a gunnera there and its still struggling, i dont want to lose my trilliums.would appreciate any suggestions please- would they do ok in a container for example

Hi Aster you could grow it in a container they grow in temperate climes should be ok down the side of your house if it's out of full sun, remember not to pick the flowers the 3 leaves below the flower make all the food for the plant and picking them can weaken or kill the plant.
