I have sown 24 tropaeolum canariense (canary creeper), and they appear to be unwilling so far. How long do these usually take to germinate?

I was labouring under the illusion that as they were related to nasturtiums that they would be pretty bomb proof and keen to get going, but I haven't had a glimmer from them in two weeks.

I have them in a windowsill propagator at the moment, but have got space now in the electric prop - should I move them, or even sow some more in there?

I always understood they were better in the dark without any heat. Maybe they're just too cozy as they are, staying under the duvet!

Ah, so I should maybe get them into a black bag or something? Must admit, I know nothing about them at all. Thank you @westwales :)

FC , a few years since I grew these , I understand germination can be erratic though. It says up to three weeks at room temperature ( no bottom heat needed ) . The seeds can be stratified to help germination . Not sure if excluding light would help. Mine did self seed though for a couple of years after I grew them.
Also there was another post on these a week or so ago , I'll try and find it .
