    Hi everyone,
I wonder if you can help please?
I read an article online in the last couple of weeks about the health benefits of gardening, in particular it mentioned how working the soil releases 'things' (sorry, can't remember what! :dunno:) into the air that are beneficial to health.
I know its a long shot but does this ring any bells for anyone?

        :ThankYou:
Now I know the name of the bacterium I can do some research. I'm terrible for remembering names and details of 'things'!
Loofah- how do I do that? Sorry if that sounds like a stupid question, I'm new here.

Just click on the bit that says 'Stress and Composting'

That proper article is very good. It might go some way to explain why I like gardening as I was left to eat mud as a child :)

            Found it, thanks.
I like the bit that says..."There isn’t a year that goes by where I haven’t learned something new in the garden."
That is so true, a big part of what I love about gardening. Always something to learn.:)

Sorry! Off topic for a moment:-
@Allan Hodgson - we popped into the Royal Yew at Dean last week and the menu looked good. Have you eaten there and is it any good?
