Hi. I'm new to gardening, having only recently moved into a house with a garden. And a greenhouse. And south facing conservatory. Hurray. I've never been very good with house plants but really want to sort out our neglected garden and start making use of what we've got. Apologies in advance, but I will be asking some very basic (and probably long winded) questions.

    Thank you

    Kat

Hi Kath welcome to GC. Don't worry about basic and long-winded questions, Some of us give basic and long-winded answers. The fun really starts when 2 or more disagree, but we usually get there in the end. :D

    Thanks all for your welcomes.

Kathy3 - I think it's a common name! Maybe we are all of similar ages, there are very few Kathy/Cathys at my daughter's school so it must have become less common now. Due for a surge in popularity perhaps?
