As i have said before i moved here nearly 2 years ago ,its a new build, so i am slowly planting and changing as i go , last year i put 100 daffs in the front borders, this year i am changing the front garden design, and adding an island bed in the centre, so i shall plant the tulips in there when i start it , some time next month when its cooler and i hope better conditions for planting perennials,
So i hope i shall have a nice few when i do plant them

I'm keeping tulips to pots this year. I found they looked tatty in the borders after flowering and the emerging perennials didn't cover up the foliage enough for my liking.

Now daffs are fine - the leaves seems to disappear into the border quite nicely.
