CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF IT IS UNUSUAL TO HAVE A TULIP WITH FOUR FLOWERS. THREE OF THE FLOWERS ARE ON TOP OF THE STEM WITH ANOTHER ONE COMING OUT FROM THE SIDE OF THE STEM. ALL THE OTHER TULIPS THAT I BOUGHT ARE COMING OUT AS SINGLE TULIPS.

Depends on the variety, there are multi headed species of tulips.
