    hi,

i am having to put new pond liner over an old layer. The new liner will overlap bricks that were put on the edges to hold the liner down. If I put a layer of turf over the liner which will be covering the bricks, will this be ok?

    Regards,

    Hi gardenlearner
you could try putting a layer of top soil down first on top of the bricks and liner with the edge of the grass just touching the water, that way you create a slope for frogs and beetle

    regards
