turf

    can anyone tell me if the lines down our turf
    will disapear next year we layed it in july [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG]

    Should be invisible by next year but if there are any bare lines just give them a very light sowing with grass seed in the spring. A top dressing of coarse sand all over won't do any harm either. I'd also give your new lawn another full year before any weed'n'feed treatments. Give it time to establish first.

    When we laid ours 3 years ago, it caught very quickly and the lines disappeared in a flash. I think the fact that it was watered very well in the first few weeks was the key. All the recent rain should help yours [​IMG]

    We laid our new lawn in June this year - just before the hosepipe bans were put into place!

    We made sure that each roll was pushed up to the next one so that there were no gaps as it does shrink slightly. Make sure that yours is watered enough and I agree with Frogesque about sowing seed in between the gaps in the spring if there are still gaps.
