    Hola

We are planning to turn a large area of lawn into raised beds with bark paths. Just wondering if anyone has any opinions/ideas on the best way to do this ?

We are planning on using Link a bord for the raised beds themselves. One specific question we have is do we need to remove all the turf from the pathways or would weed suppressant material/matting kill the grass anyway ?

    Thanks for any help.

Personally I would dig up (i.e. lower) the paths and use the turf and top soil to help build up the raised parts of the beds. Bury all the turf, grass-side downwards, when you are digging the beds - it will rot down and make nice loam and will be good at holding / providing moisture for the growing plants' roots.

Lifting all the turf and stacking in a heap would also be good - in a year or so you will have a heap of lovely loam.

The big one across the back measure 40 feet long, by 4 feet wide, by 3 1/2 high :thmb:

And the smaller one is about 1/2 the size.
