    Hi all, a question :

I planted some short rows of these sunday before last, and the seedlings are now about 1" tall.

I sowed a generous amount and they will need thinning out.

At what size should I do this?

    Thanks in advance

I would thin out ASAP before the roots start to intertwine. Root veg doesn't like to be messed about once it gets going. I tend to sow the seeds a small pinch at a time about 8" apart then just let them grow without thinning. As they grow they will push themselves apart as long as there is room. When I harvest them I just pull them up a bunch at a time. I grow most veg in this way. Hope that helps.
