    Agden Brow....well I never.

I used to live in Bucklow Hill and my wife worked at the shop (when Cyril was there, don't know if he still is) I used to inhabit the Jolly Thrasher and also the pub on Agden Brow, before it was modernized. Used to get all my veg and eggs from Abby lea (Or is it Abby Hey) farm on Peacock Lane.

Used to have some good mates at Broom Edge and in Lymm itself. I bet there have been a few changes since I moved from there.

How far back are you going Tweaks, it's not changed to much over the years. My dads local is the wheatsheaf next to park garage. I say local he only gets out for the last couple of hours on a sunday night these days. We took him to the Green Dragon for a meal on his 70th a few years ago. Do you know it? 02

The Wheatsheaf, that's the pub I meant..just forgot the name. I don't know how long your dad has lived there, but does he remember the old wheatsheaf when Joe and Josie were running it?
Yea, I know the green dragon, eaten there myself on occasions, unfortunately I know all the pubs in the surrounding area, heh, heh.
Last time I set foot in them their parts would be 2004, but they had built the new wheatsheaf long before then.:thumb:

    Thank you Nutty..I'll get you.
