    Hi,
I'm hoping someone can help. I've recently moved into a house with a lovely well established garden but there are some plants I'm not familiar with. Would be grateful for any pointers.
    Thanks, Dave

@Zigs I'm surprised it took you all of four minutes to identify things and reply. :nonofinger: :snorky:

Hi guys. This is what's grown. Is it still lesser celandine or has something else grown through? If it is LC then what can I do to control it? It's heading towards triffid proportions at 2 ft tall!
                Thanks, Dave

No idea what that is, but it's not any kind of celandine :yikes:

Looks like the leaves of Alstroemeria. Should start flowering soon, once it does it will keep going all summer. :dbgrtmb:

For the last photo: Agree with @Trunky They are indeed alstroemeria leaves. They are going to have beautiful flowers. After that, you might like to loosen the block of roots up as they are growing like mad and you will see inches thick of roots. Think you might want to DE-CONGEST the root system.

Thanks @alp and @Trunky. Do you think it's likely these have grown through after the celandine or the first identification was wrong? D :-)

@Dave The Amateur Afraid you have asked @alp THE AMATEUR .. Don't quite understand the question. Hope some gardener will offer better help. Alstroemerias always have very thick and congested roots after a few years. But they can be separated quite easily. I never bothered to dig them up and when I did, I got the SHOCK :yikes::yikes:of my life.. the root block was about 3 to 4 inches deep and they all intertwined together.

I've just taken a photo of some Alstroemeria in the garden for comparison.
