    The first is, I think, Sanguisorba (Burnet). The second is definitely Geum urbanum. Weeds or wildflowers depending on your point of view.

      Wood avens, Geum urbanum, seem to like our garden this year....it is everywhere so we have been pulling it up when it is in the wrong place.

          Everywhere is the wrong place for grim urbanism (that's what spellchecker calls it and I'm inclined to agree).
