    A few photos from the rosarium in Uetersen, which is in the north of Germany. As I understand things, its a joint venture between two of the largest rose breeders in Germany. Tantau and Kordes. It was started pre-WW2. Entry is free, which I think is a very positive thing.

    Sadly, bad weather had spoiled many of the roses, but here are a few photos to give an idea of how it looks.

      Its just a shame that the terrible weather there had decimated the roses. Even so, the scent in some areas was amazing...
