Over the last few years I have tried to obtain an Uncle Walter Rose but without success. My father was named Walter and the uncle Walter rose is marking his plot in the cemetery. Whenever I have tried to take a cutting of the existing:cnfs: rose is just shrivels and dies. What am i doing wrong? None of our local garden centres stock this rose. It is a beautiful red rose and I cannot find it anywhere. Does anyone have any suggestions? Would it be happy in a clay soil?
Thanks for your help in advance?
