    Some years ago the man in charge of Refuse Collections at our City Hall was Mr Smellie!

    and oft spoken about were the Gotobed family who lived at Little Snoring - true!

    Our eye doctor was called DR Thong !!! he was quite good and not at all pants.

    My old lady Doctor was called Dr Heart,and in our old village we had a Dr Tickle :D :D

    I used to go badger watching and the farmer who rented the land was called Ivor Plant - would have been better if he had been a horticulturalist.
    I did hear of a guy called Richard Head. Don't know whether anyone used the diminutive of his name!!!

    Mr.Veall the butcher :D
    The Neville brothers who play for Man Utd - their Dads called Neville Neville :eek: :D
    My cookery teacher was called Lorraine Driver, but everyone called her Lorrie! :D
    There are some very cruel parents in the world!!! :D :D

    Cherry Bunn!
    and a guy called Sylvester Raspberry. Think I would have changed my surname.

    We knew a P(eter) Brain years ago.

    One of our vets is Patricia Leitao Alegre (Patricia Happy Piglet) and she's a gorgeous little poppet, and across the road from the vets' is Talho Coelha (Mr Rabbit the Butcher).

    Oh, yes, and I had a cookery teacher called Mrs Pugh, which could be a bit off-putting! :eek: And the new cookery teacher was Miss Bugg ... no better, really! :D
