Please can someone help!!! I was digging my garden recently and found three large larvae approx. 1 1/2" in length, whitish/grey in colour with six orange legs at the front. It had an orangey head with pinchers for jaws, similar to the tail of an earwig. I have searched the internet and books but cannot find anything similar. I live in rural Mid-Wales near to a canal. I was told that they could be dragonfly larvae????
