Unknown plants

    Can someone indentify these for me please

    Left over from a previous occupant, I want to keep them but don't know what they are.

    The first is a Sedum possibly Sedum lydium. I don´t think it is sedum acre, as that blooms yellow. No idea about the second, but I can´t see it very well (blind as a bat I know). :-)

    Second is welsh poppy. Some see it as a weed, but I have have a few sprinkled around - I'm partial to the odd weed! :)

    Is it indeed, the pretty thing? As I wrote somewhere else I never had the joy of seeing a welsh poppy from real!

    First one is one of the forms of Sedum album.

    thanks for the ids. Its cetainly not a weed to me, it produces a lovely yellow flower and has bright green lush foliage. I wish all my weeds looked this nice:p

    If you can bend down that far, it smells pretty sweet too!

    Could any of you weed ridden gardeners (ouch!) send me a few seeds of welsh poppy? I can swap with other seeds.

    You'd certainly be welcome to some seeds, Katy! They are very pretty, but do tend to take over if you are not quite ruthless. PM me with your address and i'll send you some!
