Unusual Tree?

    Might anyone be able to identify the species of the tree in the attached photo? I looks unusual to me, I spotted it near Sheffield. Thanks, Richard Taylor

    Without close up pics of the branches, leaves and bark it's a little difficult to properly ID. But from the form of the tree it looks like type of cedar - perhaps Pencil Cedar or Eastern Redcedar. Don't quote me on that though.

    I think it may be the Incense cedar, Calocedrus (libocedrus)decurrens.:gnthb:
