    Can anyone help?

I'm doing a house clearance and there are lots & lots (haven't counted!) of house & outdoor potted plants.

The house is unoccupied & I'm afraid the plants will die if left unattended.

I don't know anything about gardening!

I was hoping that a member may be able to point me in the direction of a Community Project or other facility that would have use for these beautiful plants.

There are many and varied species. All potted.

    Thank you.

    Hi JWK,

The house is in Old Drumchapel, just off of Great Western Road, Glasgow.

There is a sun room almost full of potted plants, & the front & back garden has a wide variety of numerous potted plants.

    Thank you.

Apologies, I've just realised this is an introduction 'area'. Or, I believe it is? Yikes, help!

      Anyway, just in case;

Hello everyone. Thank you for allowing me to join & for your kind words of welcome.

Many thanks for your responses to my query.

Suggest you take photos and put them on Gumtree. It's free to advertise but you'd have to obviously be at the house to let people in to see what there is.
I'm sure if you offer them for free you'll be inundated! I'd do it today being the weekend and maybe leave the advertisment to run over Easter, if possible. If I was you I'd offer them for a donation and put the donation to a pet charity you might have.
There are community garden projects but I doubt would be interested in the indoor plants. Maybe do Google search and see if there are any schemes nearby.
I know of 1 but it's in Perth which is too far away from Glasgow to make it worth people's while to travel over. Good luck.

You could join the freecycle group :)

trash nothing! Give and get free stuff

I was a memeber of my local one for a few years, gave away a lot of stuff and recieved about £3k's worth of stuff in return :hate-shocked::phew:

        Hi Silu,

Thank you for your suggestions, I will indeed try Gumtree. I'll get some pictures tomorrow & post the free offer.

I did try a Google search for Community Projects, & have asked around, but alas, there seems to be nothing suitable.

I am hopeful that these lovely plants will find a new home.

        Thank you once again.
