I thought I'd create a new thread as it is an up date on the coming and going in the busy life of the Tits that have taken up residence in the Arbour Roof Nest Box.

Having a look on a high post to see all is well before flying in

    Still looking for anything unfriendly.

    Where is he?

    You're late!

    Hello!!

    Can I come in?

Let me out......and you're late!, but give us a kiss.

Out of the way, coming through.

    See you later.

    That's better.

    Going in, bums up!!

    Off again!!

I've to got take my hat off to these Tits as they are working hard and so well together, they just never seem to stop. At least they've got somewhere safe and warm to sleep at night. The front panel of the Arbour roof also acts as a barrier against the heat of the Sun during the day as the the Nest Box is attached to the rear of the panel making it deeper inside the cool area of the roof.

My next door neighbour is also happy as he's got occupants in the Nest Box I made for him last year while I was on a "mission" to build as many as I could with the scrap wood in the garage.

If you look closely at the pic of the Tit sticking it's head out you'll see it's got debris in it's beak so it must be doing a bit of cleaning up....multi tasking, does that make it the Female??:heehee:

Great pictures Armandii. I would imagine there's already chicks in there as the parents are flying in with food. :)

Fantastic.......the poor things must be worn out! Fingers crossed that the chicks successfully fledge after all the parents hard work.
