My computer keeps popping up and telling me I can upgrade to IE10 for my Windows 7.

What are the pros and cons of this?

Could it be incompatible with some of my other software?

Will I have to learn how to use any new things?

Many thanks, in advance :blue thumb: :)

    You shouldn't notice much difference.

From the technical perspective, IE10 supports much more of the HTML5 standard than IE9 does. That means that websites using HTML5 features will work better on IE10 than they do on IE9.

Its probably not too much of an issue yet because the 'standard' is still new (I don't think its even been formalised yet), so not too many people are using it, but it is catching on rapidly, so in the not too distant future I expect anyone using a browser without good HTML5 support will start to see more and more websites failing to work properly.

I'm not aware of any downside to installing it.
