Carl the pavillion I presume is a recent addition, when I did an exhibit it was in the Grand Marquee and after three days of standing in there on dried up grass I almost lost my voice as I was choking on dust due to thousands of people walking through.:D
I haven't been there since then in '88.
You must have enjoyed it as you took so many pics.:gnthb:

:gnthb: Thanks for sharing your photos they are superb....!!!
Like Bob I didn't watch it on the TV this year... Started to & got so fed up with the presenters I didn't bother again either.....
Your photos do justice to the gardens too, not full of people milling front of the camera.. Nice to see your shots of Chris's garden too... :thmb: Really enjoyed my little walk round... Thanks.. :)h

I enjoyed your pics. I loved number 2 [the little shed]

Yep still lots of dead grass:hehe: but they hose the whole marquee down every night so the dust isn't too bad

You wouldn't believe how much effort it took to get photo's with nobody in! I had to fight tooth and nail to the front of the crowds most of the time my Nan had to look at the pictures Id taken to see the gardens because she couldn't get in front to see any:mad:

but I wont be going again unless

    1. I have a members only day ticket!
    2. I bring my own seat with me
    3. preferably have access to a taser or large mallet

but overall I enjoyed it although I was much more interested in the plants but it was mostly about the design aspect:p

    Basically Chelsea is overrated:thumb:

I've heard Hampton Court Flower Show is much better...and you can buy things there too. No faffing about getting into Central London either.
