Urban bird families doing fine

    This week the goldfinches showed the babies where to find the free nyger seed. They were a bit unsure at first, but now they've definitely got the hang. Yesterday a pair of blue tits brought their four fledglings into the garden for flying lessons and then lined them up along the washing line. That way, Mum could pinch lots of food from the feeders and stuff it down each hungry throat in turn. Another generation which will grow up to rely on benefits. :heehee:
