Urgent RE damsons

    Half of one of our Damson trees has snapped. The fruit is dark purple, but not fully ripe.
    Question is, will it ripen off the tree or is this crop lost?

    It should do, best put them with bananas to help ripen :)

    Yes, we have no bananas. They give me chronic indigestion.
