I know it's not a nice subject, but I have heard it so many times, has anyone
used their own to feed plants? I know it has to be diluted, what is a good
    ratio?

Can male and female be used, and can they be mixed

    :eeew:

Yes, have been know to put it on the compost heap.

Not sure I'd like to put it directly on veg, or pot plants, even diluted, it could start to pong a bit.

25% Urine, 25% Comfrey water, 25% Seaweed water and 25% Nettle water will keep unwanted visitors away from your plot (and surrounding plots and in summer possibly even the adjacent road). If that doesn't work chuck some horse poo in and hang mesh bags of cabbage leaves/gone to seed lettuce in it.

Yep, I pee on the compost heap. It's supposed to be good for it and it saves me going back indoors for it! :blue thumb:

          Important EU Directive

          No. 456179

In order to bring about further integration with the euro, which is the single European currency,

all citizens of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland must be made aware that the phrase “spending a penny" is not to be used after 30 September 2015.

From this date onwards, the correct term will be “euronating".

It is hoped that this will be a great relief to everyone.

If you have any questions, just give me a tinkle.

Wish you could speak to hubby about this.

He has known for years of the value of urine - so was trained to "water" the compost bins.
But this year he has taken to watering the fruit trees... Fortunately, we are not overlooked much:yikes:, and the fruit trees are at the far side of the garden. To be honest, I cannot notice any odour, but seeing as we have foxes - maybe he is deterring them a little?, and our own dogs, that doesn't really say much. Do you think the fruit trees would prefer he went down the garden to the compost bays?

I'm not sure I ought to start squatting on the top of the compost bins they are tucked away in the front garden but knowing my luck id probably be caught by the postman or a local dog walker! :heehee:

I used to collect and dilute urine and put it on my flower beds when I lived overseas. Obvs. more difficult to water the garden this way if a girlie, but definately the plants grew very well.

You could always put a bit of food colouring in it (blue, like plant food) if you are overlooked in the garden!
