Trying a new restaurant out for Valentines Day. It is a one seating, one meal, bring your own wine. Menu posted on site. About a 6 min drive to it from our house. And that morning, getting an hour & 1/2 massage.

One of the courses for Valentine's Night Dinners at our local hotel is Jerusalem Artichokes which could truly make it a night to remember, notwithstanding the cost of it at over £300 including overnight accommodation based on 'two people sharing' - I'm always amused when I see that for Valentine's Night, together with the cost of meals being 'per person'. I wonder how often they get 3 people booking them?

Valentines used to be from unknown admirers!!! It's ruined now, just another money making opportunity with people put under pressure if they don't buy expensive presents/overpriced flowers etc., :dunno:

Looks a stunning setting Redstar. Set menu is very Italian , with very limited but perfect meals. Cash only could be a problem if its a little more than expected !

It is a set cost price, so we just bring the green backs with us, and a bottle of wine. Limited seating, one time seating so I am expecting it to be pleasent and not rushed.

The cost is $50.00 a person. to me that is reasonable.
Looking forward to the new place. Heard good things about it today when I was getting my massage.

Also, they don't seem to sell Jerusalem Artichokes over here, still have not noticed them in all these years in any market, guess the gas stays across the pond.
