We enjoyed riding around in these old-timers on our recent trip to Malta.

Here an aerial view of the central bus station in Valletta, it took a bit getting used to.

This is the beautiful Triton Fountain in the middle of the bus station. It depicts 3 gods, half man and half fish -

Hi Kedi-Gato - it was lovely to see the buses in Valletta - my great-grandmother was born in Valletta - I have visited Malta only twice though but loved both of my visits! [IMG]

    Thanks strongy, mira and susannah.

We got used to the bus station quicker than we thought we would. What was a bit off-putting was that the buses sometimes changed numbers while at the station, so that they then went elsewhere. We never did work that one out.

susannah, you no doubt rode on the buses too, and so know what an experience they are.
