If you order FIVE sets and use code VMAFF22 in the 'Enter catalogue or newspaper code' box, you will get free delivery (orders over £40) plus another £10 off for using that code, reducing the cost to only £8 each rather than £13.95 (£10 + £3.95 P&P) for buying just one set.

But what is the stuff and will any of it last until Xmas present time?

I've bought from V.M. before. Lots of very tiny plug plants for not very much money. I got 100+ Lavender plants for 10p, or maybe 20p, each. I'm "kitted out" for being able to raise such things, but if anyone just put them outside I doubt they would grow.

I've also had a number of "Rare Himalayan Tree Paeony" type things from them. Never got any of them to grow, but that may just be me.

But I wish you luck ... I just can't see why any company needs to sell a genuine 100-pound set of plants for a tenner. There are those (Sofa warehouses spring to mind) that have a sale on all the year (bar the week or two that the law says they have to sell at the RRP in order to be able to THEN have a sale :heehee:), so maybe that is their marketing line. Or maybe the over-produced something, although given how often them offer my "special offers" I suspect they are more closely related to the Sofa companies ...

What they say is worth £100 and what you think is worth £100 are two different things!:D

My partner has looked into this a little, and apparently, some people said that they were waiting up to 3 months for their purchase to arrive :th_scifD36:

Im sure people have had deliveries much sooner than this, but its hardly a good sign. I dont think I would risk a tenner on this one, but I hope you get a good bargain if you decide to find out. :dbgrtmb:

Try it, Spruce, if you get £20 worth for a tenner it's bargain. I was just questioning whether or it really was a genuine, for real, £100 worth.:D

My delivery was scattered through the year. Fairly sure it said on the website when the delivery was, or on some printed instructions with the initial order, or an order confirmation. But there wasn't an email alerting me to the next delivery, or any other useful indication that something was coming later / shortly due to arrive - I could have been away for a fortnight when it turned up!

That may have improved in the couple of years since I last bought from them though.
