Happy to report that all my veg and herbs seem to be doing well....should have a feast of beans and tomatoes in the summer!! Have never tried beans before, just growing them up the fence......

The carrots, spinach and courgettes are beginning to appear, and I planted some more sweetcorn and broccolli the other day....

Sounds great, I love this time of year when everything is starting to really grow even though there's not much to eat.
What sort of beans you growing, runners?
My runner beans are really slow this year, only about 6" high.

Runner beans...it's the first time I've ever grown beans, actually they are purple ones, which is why I bought them!! There was an Italian seed stall at Chelsea - apparently, though, they turn green when you cook them.

Had to buy another grow-bag for the rest of the stuff I still have to plant!

At the risk of stating the obvious.......remember to keep up with the watering. It is really disappointing to start growing a good crop of veg but then to lose them because they get too dry. Runners enjoy a good soak in the evening, and it helps the flowers to set.
