This will be my first year growing (well, trying to :snorky: ) my own veg.
I'm looking for advice on what, (if anything), I could start sowing now, indoors to begin with as it isn't warm enough here yet to start anything outdoors (South East Scotland).
I do have a little 4 tier growhouse, but it is full of overwintering pelargoniums just now. I have a bigger walk in mini growhouse too, but the cover is full of little square holes in between the reinforcing threads so needs replaced. I bought a bigger walk in growhouse, which is double the size of my 6' x 4' walk in, but the clear plastic cover got ripped during the gale force winds we get here so that needs a new cover too now.
Then, there's the little polytunnel I bought (New Leaf - 19mm frame with the green reinforced poly cover)...but that's still in the box in my shed, lol.
I have obtained some planks to use to build raised beds for my veg to grow in once the weather gets better, but I'm champing at the bit to get started on seed sowing so that I have something to plant out when my beds are ready.
I have the following seeds at the moment -
    Beetroot "Detroit"
    Carrot "Nantes"
    Cabbage "Ormskirk Savoy"
    Broccoli "Purple Sprouting Early"
    Onion "Rijnsberger"
    Cauliflower "All The Year Round"
The above seeds are in a 6 pack together, each type in individual foil packets, but I had found them unopened in my shed last year and the sow by date is 2012.

I bought the following packets of seed last year (Lidl) -
    Onions "Stuttgarter Reisen"
    Brussels Sprouts "Roodnerf"
Broccoli "Premium Crop" - looks like the "broccoli" sold in supermarkets, so is really calabrese.
    Cauliflower "Snowball X"
    Garden Pea "Kelvedon Wonder"
Garden Pea "Kleine Rheinlanderin" (can be grown without support)
Cucumber "Vert petit de Paris" (Gherkin)
    Cucumber "Akito" (outdoor cucumber)
    Carrot "Nantaise 2" (seed tape)
    Carrot Rote Reisen" (seed tape)
    Cherry Tomato "Chicco Rosso"

So, can I start any of these seeds now, indoors ? I have a table beside a South facing window they could stay on while growing, or if needed, my kitchen has a decent sized space beside the window which is well lit all day although it is North facing and cooler.
    Thanks in advance :hapfeet:

If you got a wilkos nearby they're cheap and cheerful there, not many varieties though. Also Order is a cheap and cheerful site. Can also start chitting seed spuds now

The nearest Wilko to me is 21.15 miles away via city bypass then motorway. I don't drive...
But I see they do online shopping :)
So, that's seed potatoes added to my shopping list too now :snorky:
