Veg garden layout help please?

    I am heading North this weekend and will take some pics and measurements of our veg plot. It has been very productive in the past, (the neighbour said) the soil is friable, dark and the PH is about 6.

    Someone has set up some raised beds using corrugated iron which is working but fails the appearance test really.

    Really setting up this thread to remind me to post up the pics and dimensions so as to get the benefit of the forum wisdom. There is a beech hedge which has got a bit out of control but one of the winter projects is to give it a severe cut back.

    Crop rotation will lead your design, are you planning to have any long term residents like strawberries or asparagus?

    Also consider soft fruit canes like Raspberries etc
