Hi we have just pulled up our potatoes, radishes and lettuces.

What veggies can we plant outside now (seeds)? I was thinking maybe carrots and broccoli?

Hi Jimmy Chippy, and welcome to GC - lots of very knowledgable people here who can assist with just about any gardening topic and a few more besides.

Vegetable to plant now? Swiss Chard and Perpetual spinich should both give a return this season. Depending on where you are (please add your location to your profile) you might get a crop of french beans before the first frosts. - No doubt other members will have more suggestions.

      Welcome to Gardeners Corner:sign0016:

Land Cress, Lambs Lettuce, Mizuna. Garlic & overwintering onions a bit later on.

Great suggestions, thanks. Would it be a good time to sow broccoli?

I grow a fairly fast growing variety of autumn calabrese called Marathon which you could still sow now. They should mature around November or December.
Now is also a good time to sow spring cabbages.

If you really really hurry, you still have time to get another crop of spuds on the go, but of course not in the same spot as you've just dug spuds from.
