    I think you can hire scaffolding by the day. I've just googled it - a stunning plant - on a warm,windless day. Can't remember the last time we had one of those.

      Hi Jen, grew them from seed last year. They produced a mass of leaf growth at the base and sent long thin spindley flower stems four foot high only to collapse . They don't really tie to stakes well either unlike some other tall plants and look scruffy. Thought the second year might have produced stronger stems but not. You live and learn.
