It's a water clock in Osaka, Japan. I think it can be programmed to do all sorts of patterns. Amazing!!

Makes you wonder how many people are late for work because they stand there watching that........

Actually is none of the above. Believe it or not, its a printer.
No really it is. But they forgot the ink.
It works just like an inkjet printer does, a tiny droplet of water is released at the right time multiply this by a few thousand and you get a picture.
They can show anything you want. Unlike a printer they recycle the water. They have been around for a couple of years now. They are also hired out at publicity venues.

That is very nifty. I'll have to get one one, certainly would save me having to shred any sensitive personal print outs in future :loll:

I sort of agree, in that if you have never been go and see it, its in Ryde on the isle of Wight, and its behind Tesco, which is why some folk miss it. (Even though its sign posted)

But its not quite unique in the UK. There was another one in Scotland, (Its was the first one, and the owner then had one built in The Isle of Wight, but he has now semi retired to The Isle of Wight, so the Scotland one has closed)

                  Then there is

THIS ONE It too is in the UK.

                  There was also

THIS ONE It was in Cheshire, but it closed a couple of years ago.

Flood the carpark, put in a few pipes and and a computer and Voila!

Best with classical music and no garish lights.
