Viburnum Opulus Roseum

I need some help with this plant. How do I go about growing a nicely shaped shrub? I ordered it online earlier in the year and was surprised to see the shape of it.

I saw these at a flower show only last week - looked lovely, as they were in flower. Was really undecided whether to go for the snowball tree or Viburnum Eskimo - would have loved both. Opted for the Eskimo in the end - bigger blooms. I understand that you don't prune the snowball until it's flowered and it doesn't need pruning much anyway, just the dead heads and unruly and dead branches.

My Viburnum Eskimo is still in a pot and I am reluctant to plant it yet as we are still getting sleet here.

 

The snowball has been in the ground for a good month and seems to be doing fine

Yes, it looks fine - and it will grow.
