    Hi all,

I planted this Viburnum a couple of years ago and it doesn't seem to have taken off at all. It definitely looks a bit sad and possibly diseased? I do try and remember to mulch it in the spring and throw a little BFB down around the base but it is still pretty much the same size it was when I first got it.

Should I be doing something else with it? Or does it just need to come out?

They can suffer from several diseases and pests @latimer. I removed mine within a couple of years because it never improved. You could try removing the blackened leaves, improve airflow by removing or pruning anything close by and making sure the soil remains moist. There are other more attractive Viburnums if you decide to replace it, like V. opulus, or something else.

Thanks @Plantminded That led me down a small rabbit hole of Viburnums but I think you are right, there are nice varieties out there that may do better.

I might move this one to the front, see if it does any better there.
