    Good morning everyone I have a 3 year old Victoria plum tree which had a heavy crop this year and I have just noticed these new branches are these or should I remove them part of the tree thank you:smile:

        Good afternoon @pete and @Logan and thank you my friends do I cut them off or pull them off as I do with Roses suckers which grow back when cut off:smile:

            Good afternoon @Logan my friend and many thanks it seems that as with Roses you should tear them off rather than cut:smile:

              If you try pulling them off you might uproot the tree, they look pretty big.
              I find they grow back however you remove them, but you can dig down a bit and cut them off as close to the rootstock as is possible.

                Good afternoon @pete and thank you its my fault I let that border run out of control and only noticed them as I have weeded and cleared the border and you are spot on they are far to big to tear off so I shall cut them off:smile:
