Another question about Victoria Plum trees.

As I have mentioned before I have an old Victoria Plum tree in my garden and it doesn't appear to be grafted to any stock. Is it possible to buy one like this now? I have looked on the internet but cannot find any information.

If there are any like this I wondered whether it would be worth getting one as the two new trees I planted 2-3 years ago don't seem to be making much progress and have only grown a few inches.. Probably I am too impatient but I can hope can't I?

Unless your new ones are on a dwarfing rootstock (intended for pot growing perhaps?) I think it would be worth investigating why they haven't grown. Might they have been pot-bound originally and the roots haven't ventured out of the original rootball? or the soil / drainage / something is giving them a problem perhaps?
