I planted two Victoria plum trees last year. Lots of blossom this year but nothing set. I understand that Victorias are self fertile? I presume that my blossom got hit by a late frost. Any way I can obviate this in future?

Yes , they are self-fertile prastio. It certainly sounds like frost. Next year cover with frost fleece.:)
