The last few days Ive been painting the front sides of an old cott, awkward job due to the state of the paintwork but look at the views from the ladder! Typically i forgot my camera yesterday when the visibility was better.

Pro, I envy you young ones gardening for a living. When i left school you could be a nursery nurse a shop assistant or basically go on the dole. If you didnt have fantastic exam results in the 70's you even struggled to get a cleaning job. I had two children before I had my first garden, immediately I was hooked. Do you think I have left it to late to take up gardening as a part time job. Cheers 02.

    LMR,

    Your right.

The walls are terrible, a normal long pile sheepskin roller wont work on them as its so rough it needs a special order extra extra long pile foam backed roller.

Normaly id cut in from a ladder then use an extension pole and roll from ground level but the old paint was blown in places and had to be scraped off so virtually all had to be done off ladder.

Makes a change from my normal gardening/ landscapeing work but i wouldnt want to do it (painting) for a living FT.
