Some years ago I bought one of these (they are usually found in garden centres attached to a wooden barrel). I have set it up but it consistently refuses to pump water up. If I take it apart all the nuts etc are tight, and some times it will work for a buttful, then cease to operate after the butt is refilled. I think that the rubber washer may have aged, but I do not know where to get a replacement. Garden centres seem to sell the pumps, but do not carry spares. Can anyone help, as I really don't want to buy a complete pump

Hi there...Reckon you might have to prime the pump first. Remove the lid ,pour in water and..pump! [IMG]
