    Hello,
I have a vine tree that seems to be infected by something that I cannot get rid of.
It's been like that for the last 2 years.
It usually start growing green leaves well and also the grapes, but suddenly the leaves start turning into a black colour and the grapes get completely dried. Please see attached images.
I have tried with some sprays like Bayer Provado, but it doesn't seem to get better.

Sounds like a fungal problem rather than an insect problem. Do you see any white powder or markings on the leaves/fruit?
Also whereabouts in the world are you?

Hi Nigel, thanks for your reply. I am in uk.

I did see those white marks in the trunk of my bay tree, which is in a different place in my back garden. I sprayed the trunk with the above mentioned Provado and they seemed to go.
The grapevine leaves started getting a brownish/dark colour sooner than the years that it used to be healthy.

I doubt if the marks on the bay tree are related to the vine problem.
I would clear up all fallen leaves and shrivelled fruit and burn or dispose of off site. Prune the vines as normal and burn the prunings or dispose of off site.
Are you in wet part of the UK. I've had more problems with fungal disease on my grape vines since moving to Devon than I ever had in Essex or Lincolnshire.

Are we looking at winter pictures or does it look like that in the summer?
Just some kind of idea where in the UK you are would be a help, also do you know the variety of grape?
