I have three wooden tubs in my front garden. This year when I went to plant them up, I found them heavily infested with vine weevil grubs and larvae. Question is, what should I do now?

Obviously I must dump the contents but should I let the tubs stay empty for a while, sterilize or disinfect them or what?

    Any advice would be appreciated!
