    Well T & M say that violas need light to germinate, but when I have googled this it keeps coming up 'dark' for germination!!! :scratch: Can anyone help with this?? :please:

    I read that some violas need light and some don't. What kind of violas are they? I grew Helens Mount. I covered them with a sprinkling of compost and they germinated well.
